Save Continuously

The Save Continuously option helps ensure that participant progress is preserved throughout the survey experience. This is a project-level setting applies to all Public URLs, including those generated through Multiuse Invites, Social Media, Intercept, Embed, Shareable URLs or QR Codes.

When enabled, this feature automatically captures partial responses as participants move through the survey — even before they officially submit their answers. This is particularly valuable for long surveys, public link distributions, and high-traffic data collection campaigns.

How Save Continuously Works?

Once enabled, Save Continuously automatically records partial responses for all participants accessing the survey through Public URLs. Partial responses are captured under two conditions:

1. Navigation Between Pages:When a participant clicks Next, all data entered on the previous page is automatically saved as an incomplete response.
2. Inactivity Timeout:If a participant remains idle for at least 5 minutes without submitting or navigating further, the responses on that page are automatically saved as an incomplete response.

All saved partial responses appear in Track and are clearly marked as Incomplete Responses allowing administrators to monitor participant engagement and drop-off points for Public URLs.

• Reducing loss of responses caused by abandonment or technical interruptions
• Providing clearer insight into participant activity and drop-off patterns
• Enhancing reliability for surveys shared publicly across multiple channels
• Improving accuracy when analyzing partial engagement

How to Enable Save Continuously

1. Create or open a project.
2. In the Design menu bar, click on the Options icon.
3. Select Save Continuously from the dropdown menu.
4. Turn on the toggle to enable the feature.
